Are You a Visionary of Your Finances?

I am sitting in a hotel room, 3-star at best, in Flagstaff, AZ. It is March 31, and it is 26 degrees.

How the heck did I get here?

Have you ever wondered how you got where you are in life?

What  brought you to choose your current job, home, and who you have chosen to share your life with?
Are you happy?

I am in Flagstaff because I decided to move to Tulsa, OK. I started paying attention to the decisions I made several years ago. I had found myself in situations and did not understand how I got there.

I have not always ended up where I thought I would, but I could trace back to how I got there.

What I am getting at is the importance of knowing where you are trying to go. Have a vision.

My mentor Russell Gray says, “Once you have the vision, strategy and tactics become clear.”

If I didn’t know I was heading to Tulsa, I would be at a loss as to where to go or how to get there. Likely, I would still be in California, wondering and feeling lost.

It is the same with finances.

Be as specific as you can as to where you want to go.

What kind of life do you want?

Do you want to work 40-60 hours a week at a job that you love?

Do you want to work 20-30 hours a week at a job you love, spend time with family and friends, travel? It is up to you.

Once you have a clear vision of what you want, it will be much easier to figure out how to get there. You may need help with the strategies and tactics, but there are many people out there to help.

You must have the vision first. Live your life on purpose, working toward your vision.

It may not be easy, and there will be challenges that make you question if it is worth it.

So many things have happened since I decided to move to Tulsa that made me question the decision.

I reminded myself why I made the decision, and the feeling was still the same as it was when I made the decision the first time. So, I keep going and push through the challenges. Schedule a call with me or send me an email at info@moneywithmission.com. I’d love to know your thoughts.

That’s where this conversation starts. Dr. Felecia Froe sits down with Megan Tuohey, psychologist and relationship expert, to talk about something deeper than fixing relationships.
