Financial Planning for The Great Wealth Transfer

Financial Planning for The Great Wealth Transfer

Happy New Year!  Here we are in 2021, and although it feels the same as the end of 2020, I am planning for 2021 to be the best year of my life.

hello 2021

I am doing quite a bit of work on my goals and will be masterminding with other real estate investors, and this year, for the first time, I am working through a fascinating process called LifeBook. I am very excited about it. Check it out – I would love to hear your thoughts!

I am also very excited about:

The unprecedented transfer of wealth to women in the US.

ladies smiling on couchAccording to a July report from McKinsey & Company, baby boomers control 70% of the US assets. What’s more, among affluent households with a male and female partner, two-thirds of those households indicate that men are the key financial decision-maker.

Statistics show that women outlive men by approximately 5 years. Hence the transfer of wealth. When the male partners die, the woman will then be in control of the wealth. There are many articles out there talking about how to attract female investors. The stock market and financial advisors are ready to take us on.

For many of you, this transfer of wealth will not be direct. It may come through your mother or father.  Remember, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” ~ Roman philosopher Seneca

Are you one of the “lucky” ones? Are you prepared?

opportunity + preparation = luck

Don’t let this wealth transfer only be for one generation. Let’s learn how to build generational wealth. Here’s a free copy of my book, How to Create Wealth that Outlives You; it may help you start.
