It’s the time of year when we REALLY get down to gratitude. Being grateful has been scientifically proven to improve so many aspects of our lives, and we’re told to practice it daily.
Have to admit… I forget to be intentional about it. There are days when I just get up, get going, and forget to be grateful for anything. When I reflect, I realize those days tend to be less enjoyable than the days that I remember to be grateful for what I have, who I am, and the family and friends in my life.
Kindness is the act that my friend, Dr Michelle Robin, heavily encourages to her patients. Kindness also has many positive health benefits, including decreasing blood pressure and changing, for the better, many of the hormones that regulate our bodies. If you haven’t already, listen to Dr. Robin’s episode on the Money With Mission Podcast, where we dive in further on how you can make changes in the various quadrants of your health to prepare you to build wealth.
It has been difficult for many to remember to practice gratitude and kindness in the past couple of years. Many things have happened that may make you feel cynical about everything.
Remember, practicing gratitude and kindness are choices. You choose how you want to feel and how you want to show up in the world. Today, let’s all decide to show up with gratitude and kindness (even to those you disagree with).

I am grateful for the year that has passed, the days that I felt like the smartest person and the days that I felt like… “wait, what?” So much has happened, and I can’t even begin to tell you.
I have been challenged like you wouldn’t believe, as I know so many of you have. Together, let’s look back and be grateful. We made it, we learned, we are better for those challenges.
